Viva Las Vegas

Matt and I took our summer vacation to Las Vegas this year and we had a blast! The best part is we did not lose any money!! There is so much to do in Las Vegas as you can see by our pictures.

This was the water show at the Bellagio. It's the one they watch at the end of Ocean's Eleven. It was amazing at night!

This was a pirate show outside of Treasure Island. Even with all the expensive things you could do the Treasure Island and Bellagio free shows out front were very entertaining.

Hoover Dam was amazing! The size of everything is spectacular! It was also interesting to hear the history behind why and how it was built

A new road is being built to the Hoover Dam due to heavy traffic. You can see the beginning of the bridge that will take you across the dam, just a tad scary!

The Revere Golf Course outside of Las Vegas. Matt played golf and I rode in the golf cart and took pictures. It was a beautiful course that had amazing views of the city.

We even saw some rabbits!

Our Las Vegas Advice:
1. Get ready to pay for EVERYTHING!
Coffee is NOT provided in the room nor is inernet.
Want a cabana at the pool? That will be $150 mam!
Would you like to drink this bottle of water left for us in the room? That will be $5!
How about access to the workout facility? $15!
2. Take comfortable shoes. Not just for walking, but shoes with thick enough souls that the hot concrete does not burn through to your feet! I speak from experince. The walk from Planet Hollywood to the MGM at 2:00 in the afternoon was miserable! This brings me to my next point -
3. Wear cool clothing. Las Vegas is SO hot, even worse than Mississippi. With no humidity it feels like the oven when you open it up. At least that is how it feels in July!
4. Take in as much free entertainment as possible. Such as walking into Dior, Fendi, and Chanel stores just to look at price tags and laugh.

Buster got MC back Father's Day weekend and life has been really different. We miss her, but we were happy to get back to normal. See how sad the pups look!

Busy July

July is not even half way over and it has already been so busy!
Matt is taking July off before med-school so his co-workers from the hospital threw him a going away party. Everyone was so sweet and some of the nurses chipped in and got him a stethoscope. Doesn't he look official!

This is Noopie, the famous one from the Volkswagen commercial

This is Cindy (her son is the starting kicker for the Patriots) a nurse at the hospital

Then we had a big July 4 celebration with my mom's side of the family. It was great to see family that I had not seen in years.

MATT TURNED 25!!! His car insurance went down!! He had a great birthday and got a Wii AND Rock Band! We have been rocking out every night!!
