Triathlon

It goes without saying, but I want to make sure I am clear. It was Matt that entered a mini triathlon, not me and he did GREAT. I cannot remember his exact time, but it was 50 some odd minutes which is AWESOME! The triathlon was on Saturday and if I had entered it I would just be getting out of the lake to get on the bike. Anna is the one that got him interested in it and she WON her division!! The pups were also on hand to cheer their dad and aunt on. This one came from one of Anna's friends because of course I forgot my camera. It was a great morning for it and we saw lots of people we knew. Who knew so many people did triathlons?

1st Day of Prayer

It is hard to believe, but Matt and I leave for the Ukraine in exactly one month. Today starts the first day of prayer for the trip as we prepare to go. Matt nor I are exactly sure what we will be doing, but please just pray that we will be flexible and ready for anything that is thrown at us. We think we are staying in a home which should be VERY interesting! They do not typically have indoor plumbing (this includes showers) so Matt thinks my adjusting to this will be funny. I am glad he can find humor in it.

Our next and last group meeting is May 15 and we should have a schedule by then that we can give everyone so you will know where we are and when we'll be there. We will also have our BlackBerries with us so we can keep everyone updated through email.
