M.I.A.

So I have been a little M.I.A. since the end of May and only doing the minimum about of blogging.  I finally got all the pictures off my phone and will do my best to catch you up on where I have been and what we have been doing.

Let's back up all the way to the end of May.  As you know Matt graduated.  Well, after graduation Jackson and Mary Frances went with their Gran Dan and Sheshe to give Mama and Da-da a break.  While they were gone we stayed out until all hours of the night and hung out with friends, as seen below.
Dr. Boler (one of Matt's classmates) had a party at Brent's Drugs' the night of graduation.  We had a blast and it is such an amazing venue.  It is an old drug store that is still operational, coke fountain and all.  I had an amazing milk shake!!  Be on the look out for a Miller kid birthday party here in the future.
The caption here was "God Bless The Order"  Just some KA boys hanging out like they were in college again.  Sorry the pictures are fuzzy, but it was dark in the Jazz club we went to after Brent's Drugs.  It was a blast, Big R and Gaga need to go back with us some time.
It was after midnight here.  If you look in the background you can see pigs flying.

Then the kids came back and we finished out our week long staycation.
We went to the Jackson Zoo, The Children's Museum, and the pool.  They are working to update Zoo, but it really was a good time.  Jackson is still talking about it.
He is just too cool for school and his parents.
Even Mary Frances enjoyed herself.  The turtles were her favorite, but Jackson liked the Zebras.

We also ate out a lot, just like a real vacation.

Even the 'Max Liqudator' can be used as a golf club.  I think he would have rather been on the golf course than in the pool.

It's hard to tell here, but he got in a mud puddle by the pool and got dirty.  You can't take this kid any where.
And Miss Southern Belle hung out by the pool napping (it was oddly cool for June, hence the blanket) between dips.

Those are all my pics from our staycation.  Next up, are The Kids of Summer!
